Introduction to Cryogenic Monitoring
Quantum Cryogenics range of cryogenic equipment operates at extremely low temperatures, all the way down to absolute zero (-273°C). Low temperatures are ensured with equipment that includes a tank, level gauge, alarm and gas venting solutions, all of which, are fundamental to the delivery, storage and end-use of cryogenic liquids including nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide. The demand for cryogenic equipment is only increasing with applications ranging from minimising perished goods in the food industry to maintaining the chemical efficacy of vaccines and pharmaceuticals in the healthcare and research industries.
Until recently, IoT has not played much of a role in Cryogenics but now Quantum Cryogenics is presenting a new frontier of innovation with CryoHub, a state-of-the-art IoT cryogenic monitoring solution, usable across our full product range, alongside integrating with third party solutions.

Biostorage Freezers

Polaris Vector
Polaris Vector represents the next generation of Biostorage freezers with electronic controls integrating temperature and liquid level measurements to provide the ultimate in biological sample protection. Intelligent monitoring allows the user to define optimal storage temperature combined with a state-of-the-art customisable touch screen user display. Polaris Vector is IoT compatible allowing Bluetooth/Wireless/GPRS communication with CryoHub software.
Level & Temperature Monitoring Systems
CryoGauge 200
The CryoGauge 200 provides reliable and accurate determination of liquid levels for most non-conducting fluids including liquid nitrogen, argon, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Designed for use as a stand-alone device in pressurised cryogenic vessels.

CryoGauge 242
The CryoGauge 242 provides reliable and accurate determination of liquid levels for most non-conducting fluids including liquid nitrogen, argon, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Designed for use in pressurised cryogenic vessels, the gauge can be used as a stand-alone device or linked to other devices including a telemetry module to provide remote monitoring of liquid levels. In the case that a capacitance probe can’t be fitted, a differential pressure gauge can be used, achieving the same functionality.

QLA100
The QLA 100 Liquid Nitrogen Low Level Alarm provides automatic and continuous monitoring of liquid nitrogen levels with visual and audible low level alarms. There is also an option for a built-in timer module which, allows a 0-30 minute delay in the remote alarm to avoid nuisance alarms.

QHA100
The QHA100 Liquid Nitrogen High Level Alarm provides automatic and continuous monitoring of liquid nitrogen levels with visual and audible high level alarms, providing the perfect secondary backup system for Biostorage freezers, preventing overfill situations. There is also an option for a built-in timer module which, allows a 0-30 minute delay in the remote alarm to avoid nuisance alarms.

QTA100
The QTA100 Liquid Nitrogen Temperature Alarm provides visual alerts when the temperature in a biostorage vessel rises above a pre-selected ‘high alarm’ threshold, providing protection for samples.

CryoPanel
CryoPanel has been designed to eliminate the need for multiple separate monitoring panels for cryogenic laboratory management. CryoPanel monitors level and pressure in up to 12 cryogenic vessels with customisable interfaces. CryoPanel + builds on the facilities of CryoPanel offering a powerful IoT system with full connectivity for the devices monitored to our state-of-the-art cloud based CryoHub data logging and alert software.

CryoHub
CryoHub is an industry-leading data logging and alert system, developed to provide total hands-on control and remote web access capability. This helps to ensure true operational peace of mind, anywhere, anytime. Compatibility of CryoHub is assured for most major brands of biostorage freezers and the unique Polaris Vector range, alongside other cryogenic equipment. CryoHub interfaces directly with Polaris Vector using Bluetooth/GPRS technology.
