Introduction to Gas Monitoring Systems

Most traditional gas monitoring companies offer stand-alone monitors rather than an integrated approach to gas safety monitoring. At Quantum Cryogenics, we consider safe monitoring of gases to be just part of a portfolio of products that should dovetail together for effective and streamlined cryogenic monitoring.
Quantum Cryogenics provides fully self-contained, protective smart gas monitoring devices, which are not just traditional sensing heads but instead have decision-making and ongoing alarm capabilities even in the event of mains or control panel failure.
These gas monitors can, in turn, be linked back to Quantum’s powerful smart IoT-enabled cryogenic monitoring panel “CryoPanel+”, which interfaces not only with the gas monitoring range but with laboratory monitoring systems, temperature devices and perhaps most significantly “CryoHub”, a state-of-the-art cloud data logging and alert system.

Oxygen Monitoring

AIRSAFE O2

The AirSafe O2 Oxygen Monitor and Alarm is an easy- to-install, wall-mounted, modular oxygen deficiency monitor and warning alarm system, providing continuous monitoring of oxygen concentration in the surrounding air and both visual and audible alarms when these fall outside pre-set levels.

GASPOD O2

A personal, compact and extremely robust personal oxygen monitor, with a long-life sensor and large clear LCD display, for continuous monitoring of oxygen concentrations in the surrounding air. The GasPod offers dual protection for the user from the potential hazard of oxygen deficiency combined with monitoring of oxygen enrichment.

Carbon Dioxide Monitoring

AIRSAFE CO2

The AirSafe CO2 Monitor and Alarm is an easy- to-install, wall-mounted, modular carbon dioxide concentration monitor and warning alarm system, providing continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide concentration in the surrounding air and both visual and audible alarms when these fall outside pre-set levels.

GASPOD CO2

Control Panel & Repeaters

CryoPanel

CryoPanel has been designed to eliminate the need for multiple separate monitoring panels for cryogenic laboratory management. CryoPanel monitors gas levels in up to 12 monitoring devices and provides customised interfaces for many other types of lab monitoring equipment including freezer alarms, fan interfaces, safety valves and lone worker alarms.

AIRALERT

The QBA330 Beacon Alert is an easy to install wall mounted range of repeater modules connecting to the Quantum range of fixed wall mounted monitors to provide warning to the user regarding the safety of the monitored area with visual and audible alarms when gas concentrations in the air surrounding the monitor fall outside pre-set levels.

The QAL200 beacon alert provides a simple, visual and audible alert in the event of dangerous gas levels. It is available in either amber or blue lens colours.
